So easy I could be your lover, Chocolate lava!

Hello There!

Are you looking for an easy dessert that would make you look like you made an effort but in all honestly you were busy watching Mad Men reruns and decided to bake the last minute. Well this is the answer you are looking for all your life, yes I am that serious!

Last Saturday we invited our sis-in-law's family over for dinner and my husband called dibs on the oven because he was making roast pig. The logical thing to do was to bake a day before right? Well not really, cause I'm lazy like that. I whipped this up in a jiffy, and baked it after he was done with his roast pig. These babies were baking while we were having dinner and was ready to serve after we had our dinner. All is good in the world!

Chocolate Lava

1/2 cup softened butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
pinch of salt

100g dark chocolate squares

1. Combine all ingredients except the chocolate squares in a bowl, mix till smooth.
2. Place evenly inside 5 ramekins, or if you want to make more then choose a smaller mold.
3. Divide your chocolate squares evenly making sure that every serving gets the same amount of chocolate.
4. Place chocolate square in the middle of the batter and cover it completely with the chocolate batter
5. Bake for 18-20 minutes at 350F
6. Top with icing sugar or chocolate syrup or my personal favorite, Vanilla Ice cream!

Be sure to serve it warm :)
